Stacey's son, C, is celebrating his fourth birthday in March. She had written about a robot-themed party, so I sent along a few things I thought would be fun. I can't be there in person to celebrate, but I'm planning a Skype party so that we can pretend to be there.
These are Haribo candies that I thought would make awesome robot faces on top of cupcakes or cookies. She can probably get them where she lives, but since I already had them and was mailing a package anyway, I figured they might as well go along for the ride. I love that there are sporadic cranky faces in there.
And create a whole pile of blanks for embellishing and applique. Did you notice that the arms are little "4"s?
I embellished one as an example, but am sending the rest blank for Stacey to have some fun with. (Uh, Stacey? I hope you think that's fun and not just annoying that I've sent you some work to do. I was trying to get these in the mail quickly given the mail-room issues you've been having.) I did a few pink ones, because I figured there could be some girl guests at this par-tay.
And, as I can anticipate with any project, my K wanders by and says "is that for ME!?!?" Ummmm... sure. I don't think C will mind.
There were a few other things in the box, too, but Stacey can decide what she'd like to blog about. Or not. I just can't believe that C is almost 4. And her little S is 1 TODAY! Life moves fast. Happy birthdays, little men! Do you have any robot-themed party ideas to share? She's got a little time left for crafting!

Great ideas... I love stuff for boys!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Where did you get that pink shirt from? I love the details on the shoulders.
It's Old Navy. I've had it in a pile for a bit-- I buy a few blank shirts whenever they go on super-sale. You know, just in case I need one urgently for a robot applique.
ReplyDeleteAhhh makes sense... a need for a robot applique sounds like a true emergency!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my "little" blog :)
