Black Friday Fiver: Figgy’s!

November 28, 2014 By Susan 8 Comments

Happy day after American Thanksgiving! Or, as everyone else in the world calls it, FRIDAY. It’s time for a FRIDAY FIVER and because it’s “Black Friday” in the US, this one’s a BIG ONE! This week it’s not our usual one great pick, it’s ALLLLLL the great patterns by Figgy’s!crafterhours friday fiver figgy's

It’s EXTRA AWESOME that it’s all of them, because if I had to pick… I couldn’t. I love them all. They’re special while still being simple, they’re beautiful without being overly fluffy. There are a million and one ways to make each one amazing. And because I was involved in getting many of these ready for sale around this time last year, I know them inside and out and am SO sure you’ll love them.figgy's friday fiver crafterhours 11 14

My first thought about these patterns is that they offer a near blank slate. Fabric selection is so important here, and yet they’re not soooo blank slate that they’d be boring if you use the plainest of solids. You can mix them up a lot or not at all – they’ll still be fun to sew and make great versatile finished pieces.figgy's friday fiver crafterhours black friday

Shelly teaches workshops in Portland, Oregon and her detailed instructions will give you the feeling of hand holding. I, for one, LOVE that in a set of instructions. But they’re also not so complicated that you’ll go cross-eyed reading them. That’s the sweet spot.figgy's friday fiver crafterhours

So thanks to this bit of Black Friday fun, all of Figgy’s PDF patterns are available in Figgy’s shop for $5 via the code “FRIDAY5”. As per usual for our Friday Fiver series, the special begins at 6 am Eastern on Friday and runs for 24 hours. If you’re reading this on Sunday, I’m so very sorry! Be sure to follow crafterhours so that you don’t miss the good stuff in the future!

PS. While not our Friday Fiver, you might also be interested in this. Well, might is kind of a silly word. It’s like saying you might like seconds on pie. Of course you do. Have a fantastic weekend, friends!

I’m entering the code Friday 5 in the discount section before purchasing and it is just saying that it is not a valid discount code? I love this Friday offer and want to buy 4 patterns!

Where do you enter the code? Have 2 patterns in my cart, but I don’t see where you can enter it before checkout. Thanks <3

It’s the very last step before you complete the purchase! (And if there’s a problem, I pinky promise Shelly will refund the difference as long as you’re purchasing before 6 am on Saturday, 11/29 at 6 am Eastern.) :)
