crafterhours Help Desk

July 17, 2012 By crafterhours 1 Comment

We get random e-mails and Facebook messages with crafty/sew-y questions. They’re so fun to answer! Sometimes they’d make great blog posts, but since people didn’t send them with the idea that we’d make it public, necessarily, it feels kinda TMZ-ish to “reply all” in a big way.

But if you have a question and don’t mind sharing the question and response, well that would work out okay, right?

It’s worth trying. ‘Cause it’s summertime and anything goes. No promises about how and when we’ll respond, we’re not nearly as reliable as real-deal emergency responders. But we’ll do our best. And if we don’t know the answer, we’ll hunt down someone who does. We know a few other bloggers who know things.

Have a question about crafting or sewing or crafty/sew-y blogging? Or anything else related to crafterhours? Follow this link to send ’em in! (It’ll be worth every penny you pay for our advice.) (Oh, and it’s free!)

What great timing! Sometimes I wish I had a blog for that reason alone! What do you do with clothing you have made that your children out grow? What about pieces that are just a little “off” but that you spent lots of time on? I have considered donating these items but feel a little shy about it. I have more but cannot remember them so I will get back in a few days ( unless you know where the comma button is on the Kindle).
