Merry Christmas, Every One

December 22, 2011 By crafterhours 1 Comment

Most of our Christmas preparation is done. We’re at that point where I let things fall off of the to-do list in favor of chilling out and enjoying the holiday. It’s always hard for me to let go of those last ideas… I have this picture of how cute/funny/yummy it could be… but it’s not worth making myself nuts in order to make it all happen. I don’t have to make it all happen in the same year. At least that’s the mantra I’m trying to digest and repeat.

Marjorie and Mikey are ready for the holidays. Marjorie doesn’t always wear chunky jewelry. She’s generally a minimalist.

When she’s not on my work table she’s standing guard over the living room in this corner. But since it’s the season and all, she’s feeling festive. Mikey’s a dude. He’s too cool for Christmas jewelry.

Hope your holidays are warm, involve a reasonable quantity of yummy things and include a crafty break here and there. Oh, and be sure to check out Adrianna’s crafty post. Yes, a crafty post from Adrianna! Team crafterhours expanded! (You don’t want to miss it.)

I so know what you mean about letting things go. I did this year… my reward was a relaxing time with family.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
