Hey June: Sumo’s Sweet Stuff

June 24, 2013 By crafterhours Leave a Comment

Next up is Summer from Sumo’s Sweet Stuff!  Summer is a fellow mom of three girls (there’s a lot of us, hey?  We should start a club!  A saving-for-weddings club…)  Summer’s blog title pretty much says it all about this dress – it’s completely sweet.  I’m glad she showed what the Edelweiss can look like with three coordinating prints.  There are so many cute print collections out nowadays, and the Edelweiss is the perfect way to showcase your favorites.  I would suggest doing what Summer did here and using a small scale print for the straps and bodice and a larger scale for the skirt.  Think of the options for coordinating sisters!

Head over to Sumo’s Sweet Stuff to see the more and for some diehard girly sewing.  She’s way more dedicated than me and usually makes three of everything!  Way to go mama :)  Thanks so much Summer!
