Not sure it’s a great idea to publish the number of votes. That might be a little disheartening to someone with only a few votes. Just the winner would be better I think.

Hi Anonymous! Well, we put some careful thought into this. And we hope that each of the sewists featured here love that they were chosen as TOP 10! It’s big for the pretty accomplished set of judges we have to have recognized these as the best of the crop. And it’s fun for voters to watch the results, just like on election night. Each one is fabulous, and we hope it’s taken as all in good fun, as it’s intended! Susan

How do we find out where to get the patterns for these skirts? I am loving this theme but I am very much a novice clothes sewer. Mind you I’m skilled at making quilts but clothes just freak me out!
crafterhours says
Hi Bern! Under each collage you’ll see links to the photos that were entered into the Flickr pool. When you click through you’ll see whatever information the sew-er entered about their skirt. Some entries describe the pattern and process, others link to blogs with more information. While you may not find detailed information about each entry, there’s bound to be a lot of inspiration and some keyword searches like “pleated a-line skirt pattern”, for example, will help you move toward sewing clothes! Lots of blogs (like this one!) offer step-by-step help. Good luck! Susan
