Where my NoVa girls at?! The ladies posting today both live within a couple miles of my hometown. Can we make a date to meet at the Finch this summer, ladies?
Tara is the sewing, crafting, montessoriing, outdoor adventuring, craft beer drinking, all-things-geek loving maven behind girl like the sea. And that’s just what I’ve discovered via her blog and instagram. There’s always something fun going on over in her world, so make sure to follow along. Today she’s sharing her classic striped v-neck, complete with darth vader mask, naturally. I think she’s really hit on something for those of us who are less than thrilled to be in front of a camera.
Next up is my long time real-life friend Stacey, from Boy oh Boy oh Boy Crafts. Stacey’s helped me out with my two unisex patterns (greenpoint cardigan and aegean swim cover) and now she finally gets to sew something that’s all girl. I love how she classed up a simple tee with a pencil skirt. And the monochrome look is so having a moment right now. (side note: Susan calls Stacey Julia because she looks just like Julia Roberts. I wholeheartedly concur.)
