Friday Fiver: Hey June’s LANE RAGLAN!

October 31, 2014 By Susan 5 Comments

TODAY, I propose, is a GREAT day to TREAT YOURSELF! Whether you’ve finished costume sewing or you cleverly avoided it, it’s time to put something on your work table for YOU! Or for a grown-up friend. Or both. Today’s Friday Fiver is the LANE RAGLAN! I kind of had to twist Adrianna’s arm on this one. THE PEOPLE WANT IT, I told her. lane raglan hey june friday fiverThe response to this pattern has been big for a few reasons. First, Adrianna illustrates and details construction steps really carefully and clearly. Second, she put a bajillion years into getting the pattern itself just right. And third, there are a bajillion AND ONE ways to mix this one up. I don’t care whether autocorrect thinks that’s a word, a bajillion is a big number and a big word and entirely applicable here. Sleeve lengths and fabric choices are many. While those reasons are all the reasons anyone could need when they’re choosing a pattern, there’s also the fact that it’s today’s Friday Fiver!

9089525_origRun on over to Hey June to grab the pattern. It’s set for the $5 Friday Fiver price from 6 am today, Friday, October 31 through 6 am tomorrow, Saturday November 1 at 6 am. If you’re like me you’ll be kicking back on the couch tonight appreciating that you’ve survived the tricks and treats – and thinking how it’s time to SEW FOR ME!

I know, this particular Friday is a busy day and you’ve got a lot to digest. But if you’re thinking about how you’d make it– SO MUCH inspiration HERE.

LOVE this pattern, as I’m a real fan of raglan sleeve Ts & sweaters. ALL 3 different fabrics and colors shown are FAB! Sarah in Minneapolis
