Friday Fiver: Straight Stitch Designs!

November 7, 2014 By Adrianna 2 Comments

Ravenna Top by Straight Stitch Designs for the Friday Fiver series on crafter hoursToday’s Friday Fiver is Straight Stitch Designs’ debut pattern, the Ravenna!IMG_3936

The Ravenna is a woven shirt with two sleeve lengths, two hem shapes, and a cute exposed zipper detail on the back.  Kimberly says she designed this pattern to be perfect for the office or for moms who need to bend over and move freely.  The flared hem at the hip means the Ravenna will pair beautifully with your skinny jeans or leggings and boots this fall!IMG_4015

Our favorite version of the Ravenna is in knit!  (shocker, we know).  You can make up this shirt in a sturdy knit, omit the sleeve cuffs and ruffle, and have the perfect slouchy but cute tee.  We’d make it with thick wooly knit and pair it with leggings and cable knit slippers for those chilly days ahead.IMG_4058

The Ravenna is deeply discounted to $5 for the next 24 hours only!  No coupon necessary, just head over to Straight Stitch Designs and pick up your Ravenna today!

I like this shirt pattern and the black and white fabric you’ve selected. UNIQUE style with the higher neckline in the front and the lower scooped neckline in the back. PLUS the bright;y colored zipper in the back is sewn with the edges showing. Sarah in Minneapolis
