Friday Fiver: Cailamade

April 24, 2015 By Susan 4 Comments

If you haven’t sewn the Desert Rose dress by Cailamade yet, it might be because you haven’t seen it yet — because I don’t know how anyone could see it and not ruuuuuun for their sewing machines! It’s one of my favorite woven patterns for girls and I’m so excited to feature it for Friday Fiver today!Desert Rose Cailamade

It’s light and fun and somehow both modern and whimsical. It’s a magical sweet spot. It’s a dreamy Spring and Summer dress. A gathered skirt with pockets make it a bit twirly without becoming a fabric hogging project.Desert Rose CailamadeDesert Rose Cailamade

The thoughtfully scooped neckline and front buttons are designed to be nicely fitted but could also be sized up to layer over a shirt for Fall/Winter versions. Both top and dress lengths are included in the pattern.Desert Rose CailamadeScoop up the scooped Desert Rose while the Friday Fiver is live! The facts on that, as usual, are that the offer is valid from 6 am today, Friday, April 24 to 6 am Saturday, April 25 Eastern US time. Use code “fridayfiver” in the shop to apply your discount. Have a beautiful weekend, friends!

DARLING, truly darling young girl’s dresses and top from the same “Desert Rose” Cailamade pattern! LOVE all the different printed fabrics — the first one is my favorite. The photo shoot is FAB as is the sweet little girl modeling. THANKS for sharing. Sarah in Minneapolis
