It’s That Time of Year Again

April 1, 2012 By crafterhours 6 Comments

It’s that time of year. Time for fresh ideas ideas in tutorial-world. My friend Katie wrote to say “can’t wait to see your post on Sunday!”

Uh…. me too!

Well, the bad news is that we’ve been entirely too serious lately. The good news is that we ourselves still enjoy the tutorials we’d put so much effort into for previous years. And figure you wouldn’t mind a quick look at them, whether you’ve seen them before or not. I am FILLED with pride at the step-by-step detail we’ve included so that you too can enjoy these at home.

First, there’s the upcycled puffer shrug:

Then there’s there’s the multi-tasking mom necklace: (Totally negates the need for a diaper bag.)

Last, and my personal favorite, the toddler dress to men’s shirt. I’m adding the back view, because I think it’s been under-appreciated. (And in all seriousness, I love that you can see the tiny glint of his wedding ring. Is he not one of the sweetest, most helpful husbands ever?)

Click on over, the links above each photo will take you to the tutorials. There are also fun round-ups of tutes from our bloggy besties here and here. Hope your day is full of fun!

The toddler dress to men’s shirt was one of the first posts of yours that I saw, and I totally fell for it at first. It’s one of my favorite April Fool’s blogs ever!

Love the blogs for the pass April Fools, I hadn’t seen them before. They were great, I will have to remember to check out the blog next April 1.

I love April Fools, I got my sons with fake worm tarts. I should have taken a picture of them when they opened the tarts, as they thought they were Raspberry.
