There are lots of things to report from my neck of the woods. Not too many of them crafty, but many that impact forthcoming craftiness, so in no particular order, they are:
1) Hubs has been in the house for THREE WEEKS! I can imagine some circumstances in which this might get a bit… testy… but it hasn’t.
2) Just two days before Christmas I was running along much too quickly, hurrying to the post office, stepped off of the edge of the driveway and BA BAM. On the ground. Considering the importance of mobility and the impending lack thereof. Just a sprain and bruises and a scrape that meant a splint and crutches… could have been much much worse, especially if #1, above, were not in effect. My four year old thought the crutches were fantastically entertaining. She’s disappointed I’m now fully mobile without them.
3) Despite #2, the holidays were wonderful. We didn’t travel, and that was deeeeeelicious. Just local friends and family, lots of playtime and yummy food, few scheduled activities and lots of relaxation. Exactly what we needed.
4) Lots of organizing and moving of things. Things that will facilitate crafting. Hooooray!
5) I got MAIL. Like, a package with my name on it and everything! For a moment I was confused. It wasn’t anything I ordered, and there wasn’t a packing slip. But once I ripped it open I knew pretty quickly who to ask about its origin. Any guesses?

Here’s a cropped image of the shirt design… that might keep you from being so distracted by the color of my hair. Does it look clown-orange on your screen? Trying to decide whether it’s the screen or my actual hair color that is problematic. Feel free to comment.

It is maybe a bit orange, you could try a purpling shampoo to tone that to a blonder blonde. I went blonde two summers ago and had to be rebleached cos WOW SUPER ORANGE WOW and there was only so much they could do and I was instructed to use a purpling shampoo. (and also to go back to brunette once my hair recovered a bit, blonde was not, in my case, more fun.)
Do you have access to a Sally Beauty? Thats where I got mine.
I do love the shirt, but was definitely distracted by the hair. Good luck with that!

On the hair, I’m a hairdresser by trade and it’s easy to fix. Just need a good lot of blonde foils along the top (and only paint the colour on the darker parts on the roots and midlengths) and then pop in a toner.
Dependant on where you live there are plenty of places to buy colour. USA – Sallys or Australia – Norris/Priceline.
So sorry about the fall. The shirt is very cute!

Cute shirt. Don’t you just love surprise packages? They can turn a not so great day into something fabulous. I think I’ll start sending them more often.
