Yum, yum, yum. And healthy too, if you’re in the mood to care.

Okay, so, yeah… this is a crafty blog. But folks have been all sniffly and yucky at my house and I haven’t had as much time for crafting as I’d like. And of course, that’s nothing new. But that’s not the point of this post. Food is. And I write this a little guiltily, because I know that my blog partner is not a fan of people writing on crafty blogs about what they made for dinner. But what about breakfast?

Let’s back up. I looooooved this post. I used to have tomatoes lying around all the time that I ended up throwing out and it made me sad. Not an issue any more…

If you put a sliced raw tomato in front of me, I might eat a piece or two, but I wouldn’t get excited about it. But THESE I get crazy about. They shrink significantly the longer they roast, and I’ll suddenly realize I’ve eaten two whole tomatoes. They are so so so delicious. They make the house smell amaaaazing. I think it’s funny that Holly writes about freezing the extra, because I have yet to have any left at the end of the day. They’re great on a bagel chip or on a little bruschetta-type-creation.

So I’m making some with cherry tomatoes this morning and I’m going to add these into some mini fritattas. And I thought someone out there might like the tomato idea. Because it makes me sooo happy. And while I love all of the holiday treats that are around, this snack won’t sink you into a carb coma.

And now back to crafty things. Breathe easy, Adrianna. I’m done with food for a while.
