Spoonflower I Spy Update – Swap is Full!

July 17, 2010 By crafterhours 11 Comments

Wow. I was totally nervous about whether I could get 56 people to commit to a swap, but it turns out… it wasn’t hard. (And we have Quilt Dad. How awesome is that?!?)

Here are the participants– each of you should have received an e-mail from me and also an invitation to join the Flickr pool to upload your two choices. If you haven’t, let me know.  Double-click this image to enlarge it. You’ll see whatever name I have for you– which may or may not be your real name because of how the comment was posted, and the first few letters of your e-mail address so that you can be sure you are you. We have several name duplicates.

Woo hooooooo!

I go on vacation and look at what I miss! Hmmm, I wonder if I could get another yard worth of people interested in another swap? Care really does get us addicted doesn’t she :)

I can’t actually comment on the Spoonflower I Spy update post but wanted to say thanks for mentioning my color chart in the post and I very much appreciate the future order. I created it to be helpful to me in designing my fabrics but as it turns out it’s been helpful to more people than I realized! I also noticed a concern with design size when you’re choosing fabrics for the I Spy swap – you can always adjust the size/scale of the designs down in Spoonflower when you’re placing your order so that it will fit within the 5″ requirement. Once you’ve placed the fabric you want to order in your shopping cart, you can Edit Order Item and near the bottom of the box look for “Design Size” and clik on “Edit this” and you can “Change size of design” smaller or specify a dpi (larger than 150 so the design size shrinks). Hope this helps if folks are concerned about a design that would only work with fussy-cutting otherwise!

I would like to be on the wait list as well! This would be so much fun, especially with my new found obsession with Hexagons! 54 prints? oh yeah!
