Signing Off…for now

June 10, 2011 By crafterhours 14 Comments

Hello faithful Crafterhours readers.  Well, you’ve been hearing mostly from me for the past year while Susan was in the midst of her big move and house buying and renovating, but now it’s my turn to take a break.

Today I’m leaving for a trans-atlantic, trans-pacific move.  Thankfully we have a long layover in the States.  7 weeks long :)  When we arrive in our new home on the other side of the world, I’m sure I’ll be getting settled, helping my oldest adjust to kindergarten (!), and waiting semi-patiently for my household effects to arrive.  But after that, I’ll be back.  No promises on better though.

So, this is me signing off for a little while.  Enjoy your summers and make sure you get a skirt or three submitted for skirt week!  I’ll still be following crafty blogland, and I’m always available on email!

Take it away, Susan.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you all. You are much braver than I. And I’ll put in a word with the shipping gods to make sure your things arrive SUPER quick.

I hope that you all have safe travels! May I ask where on the other side of the ocean? I lived in Portugal for a couple of years where I met my husband. I love learning new cultures, languages, food, even though it comes with challenges! I pray that you all enjoy your adventure :)

Hi Susan and Adrianna! I’m new here and also new to sewing which is how I found you! I’m a follower of noodlehead :) And now I’m following you too! You girls are amazingly talented! I must admit that coffee is a MUST for me as well so we have something in common!

Also, I know how it is living overseas!! I lived in Germany for 3 years {hubby is military}. It was a fantastic experience and I do miss it a lot!

    Have a safe trip Adrianna!
