A Skirt You’ll Love by Jess

June 18, 2011 By crafterhours 4 Comments

Jess of Craftiness Is Not Optional posted this super-cute skirt yesterday. Not only is the skirt adorable (uh, and the kid. She never fails to max out the cute-meter) but there’s a pattern giveaway attached, too.  It’s a two-for-one opportunity. Not to mention that the skirt can be worn three different ways.

In Skirt Week related news, all the pools are now closed to entries. The judges are sweating over ranking their choices.  Well, two over-acheivers have already submitted their scores. The others are sweating.

If you’ve entered a skirt and you’re concerned about whether your skirt is showing up when you’re not logged in, not to worry. The judges are “joining” the pools as members so they’ll be logged in and able to see them all.

The top eight skirts in each category will be posted for voting. Wondering when your skirt may be up? Here’s the schedule for the week ahead:

Monday
Top A-Line Skirts posted for voting

Tuesday
A-Line Skirt Winners posted
Top Full Skirts posted for voting

Wednesday
Full Skirt Winners posted

Top Straight Skirts posted for voting
Thursday
Straight Skirt Winners posted
Top Children’s Skirts posted for voting
Friday
Children’s Skirt Winners Posted
Voting will open each morning around 8 am, and close each evening at 10 pm, all times on crafterhours are Eastern US. One vote per person, please.
And as if all of THAT excitement was not enough happening, there’s more! Watch for a post about a Sihouette Giveaway AND a guest post on Living With Punks. More fun than you can shake a stick at. I’m still not sure I know what that means other than “a lot”, but my Nana says it. Thus I must continue its use.

Will the entrants know if they made it into the top eight before that day? I’m sure I didn’t make it, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to be stalking wild-eyed until I know who did. And then I shall blogstalk them and learn their ways and next year, ohhh next year! Watch out!

Nope, they’ll be announced that morning. We like drama and suspense!

exciting! I’m looking forward to seeing the skirts the judges pick! (and I’ve been wanting a silhouette for ages now so I’ll be keeping an eye out for that announcment)

Did I post my skirt wrong and that is why it doesn’t appear in the pool unless I log in? I’m a little confused about that. I’m not surprised at all because I am a little tech-impaired, but I’m really not sure why it doesn’t show up.
