Skirt Week Sponsor: Made By Rae

June 8, 2012 By crafterhours 20 Comments

You guys don’t need an introduction to our next sponsor – it’s Rae from Made by Rae!  Her annual Spring Top Week is what inspired us to do Skirt Week in the first place.

Just in case you’ve set up home under a rock for the last few years, I’ll show you a couple of my very favorite Rae-made things.

I’ve made her Big Butt Baby Pants,

 Buttercup Bag,

and Toddler Backpack and loved all of them.

In fact, her patterns have produced some of my very favorite sewn items (you can see my versions here, here, and here, respectively).  The patterns are so clear and the tutorials well photographed, so sewing with them is as simple and gratifying as it gets.

Most recently, she’s taken the sewing world by storm with her amazingly versatile Flashback Skinny Tee:

And due to popular demand, she is in production to put out her first woman’s sewing pattern for the Washi Dress.  Let’s all offer her free babysitting so she can get that thing out to us as soon as possible, kay?
Rae is offering 4 of our Skirt Week winners their choice of 2 patterns from her shop!  (good luck choosing just two.)

I love Re’s patterns. My girls live in the big butt pants and I have a cute buttercup purse. I’d love to try more.
