Have you seen Stylo magazine yet? It released earlier this week. It’s free, and it’s fullll of kids fashion inspiration. There were many friend blogger hands involved in making it happen – and among them, faces that are new to me and I can’t wait to see more of.I read it from cover to cover and then went back to read it again. So proud of all of the people who are part of it. I also have a little spot on page 80 where I share some of my favorite things for sewing and crafting. Go check it out!
While we’re talking about inspiration, are you working on your to-do list for next week? It’s the Winter Kids Clothes Week! For the past two years I was traveling during this time frame, but now I’m cozy at home and printing and assembling patterns, lining up fabric and drawing what I’m hoping to make. This is the first year I’ve gotten serious about planning ahead and I’m really having fun. While it’s true that any of us could sew any time we like, there’s something about this challenge (to sew for one hour a day each day for the week) that makes it especially fun to see what everyone is working on, and now the Kids Clothes Week site has been amazified – that’s totally a word – so that you can search and explore it and other sewists in new ways.
Odds are good that you’ll see both Adrianna and I posting here next week! Could get crazy, in the best possible crafterhours-ish way!
