I’ve got two powerhouse sewists up today who really need no introduction from me. First it’s Jess from Craftiness is not Optional! Jess sews mainly for her three ahhhhdorable little girls and herself, but also does some major crafting for her home, and her doll home (it’s not a doll house, trust me), and her amazing themed parties. She can bend frosted sugar cookies to her will, I’m guessing with some kind of superpower. She’s just always whipping up something cute, and luckily for the rest of us she has a ton of tutorials and sewing patterns so we can make them too! True to her nature, Jess made three (four?) Union St. Tees! Each one cuter than the last, naturally. Drop by Craftiness is not Optional to see them all!
Next up is Sabra (say it right folks – SAYbra) from Sew a Straight Line! Sabra sews for her 4 kiddos and herself as well, and I feel like every time I turn around she’s made all of them outfits! And not just like a sundress. I’m talking jeans and leather jackets and cargo pants and coats. How does she do it?? Sewing for older boys can’t be easy, but she sure makes it look that way. She got a little selfish sewing in this week with two Union St. Tees, and she’s the first one to do a long sleeve! (I know nobody in the northern hemisphere is ready to discuss it right now, but this shirt does come with 4 sleeve lengths and eventually they will all be necessary. I’ll organize the pity party at the first drop in temps.) Stop by Sew a Straight Line to see her tees and make sure you follow her blog and instagram for a crap ton of sewing inspiration (not to mention some pretty darn cute kids and some excellent adventures!) Sabra’s also posting ALL her Hey June pattern creations this week, which was a really fun surprise! How cool is she?!
