Why Adrianna and Susan are no longer speaking to each other

February 10, 2010 By crafterhours 10 Comments

S: Hey, A. You know every time you post something I go in and fix the spacing and enlarge the pictures, right?

A: Yeah, how about we just leave it alone? I can’t stand when the pictures touch the words.

S: But… it’s just so spread out. There’s too much s p a c e.

A: But I like it like that.

S: But when we started we talked about having the words above a related picture touch. Space on the bottom.

A: Yeah, but I was just agreeing because I don’t like confrontation.  I really think we should have a space between all text and pictures.

S: That’s fine, as long as it’s consistent. But wait… NO. It’s still too much space.

A: But I like it like that.

S: But why the pictures so small?

A: They’re not small.  They’re medium.  And otherwise they’re huge.

S: But I like to pretent like I’m there.

A: Yeah, but it’s too visually overwhelming for me.  Why don’t we each make our posts the way we like them?

S: Because then the blog won’t be consistent.

A: My OCD dictates that we need spaces and normal sized pictures.

S:  But MY OCD dictates that we move the pictures closer and make them larger.

(at this point, it is obvious a truce won’t be reached.  We retreat to our respective crafting corners.  We are never speaking again.)

S: What if I tell you I have some double chocolate Milano cookies and I’ll share them with you, but we have to do it my way?  (it is important for you to know that Milano cookies are not available for purchase where we live)

A: Throw in a fresh pot of coffee and it’s a deal.

So, now you know why our blog is laid out the way it is, and that every man has his price.  And apparently Adrianna’s is very, very low.
