Guest Posting at Craftiness Is Not Optional!

April 12, 2011 By crafterhours 8 Comments

Hi everyone! I am very excited to announce that you can find me over at Craftiness is not Optional today! I’m participating in Jess’ Knock-Off event appropriately called “The Sincerest Form of Flattery”.

Make sure you check out all the great knock offs that she and KoJoDesigns will have over the next several days for some great ideas and a way to share your own knock-offs with everyone too!  Here’s a little preview of my project:

And while I’m on the topic of Jess and Knock-Offs, check this out.

Yeah. It’s an exact copy of her Vintage Feedsack dress, right down to the fabric selection. Jess was kind enough to respond to my desperate pleas and emailed me a tutorial and pattern pieces for this dress the same day. But that’s just because she loves me more than you.

I’m not sure what’s up with little miss P’s posing. When I asked her to smile for me, she did this:

And then I told her to smile big for me with her eyes open and got this:

Something tells me that she and Jess’ Sadie would get along really well. Silly girls.  They are within a month in age too.  Wish we could schedule a playdate, Jess!

hahaha I’m really laughing at myself! I read the title “Guest Posting at Craftiness is not Optional” and thought geez someone is having a bad day! I had no idea the title of a blog was “Craftiness is not Optional”

Maybe I shouldn’t be on the PC the minute I wake up, you know give my brain at least half hour to get it together!
