Today’s second guest has kind of a funny backstory. Stacy from Hart + Sew posted a vintage dress on Instagram and Kristin commented that it reminded her of the Edelweiss and we proceeded to have a conversation about it on Stacy’s poor feed. So I wrote to her and apologized for hijacking her Instagram comments and asked if she’d be interested in having the pattern and joining the tour. I was so surprised and excited when she immediately wrote back and said yes! I’ve definitely been a lurker at Hart + Sew, but this is my first collaboration with Stacy and boy am I glad it worked out, because check this out:
Can you even believe that? I guess all the detailed and well made vintage clothes that she curates for her shop must be very inspiring, because I never would’ve thought of this! Can you believe that patchwork detailing? Amazing. I absolutely love it, especially set against the simplicity of the rest of the dress. Well done, Stacy, well done.
Head over to Hart + Sew to see the full post and to revel in the inspiration from her blog. Thank you again so much for joining at the last minute and for making such an incredible Edelweiss, Stacy!!
really really beautiful! Love the patchwork color combo.
