It’s the last day of Hey June June! But don’t worry, we’re ending it on a high. First up today is Ashley from Vintage Farm Life. Ashley was one of my very helpful pattern testers for the Edelweiss, so she’s already got a couple under her belt. Ashley makes cute ruffly outfits for her little girls, and she just recently made up a couple ruffle tanks with fat quarters that I want to copy. You can see the tutorial here – they’re perfect for summer!
I wanted to showcase this Edelweiss that Ashley made because it reminds me that there’s a certain American holiday coming up and you guys might be thinking about whipping up some patriotic outfits. With all the options for fabric pairing, the Edelweiss is the perfect way to throw together some red, white, and blue! How sweet is this little girl with her matching ribbons?
And this also reminds me that if you were a sports fan, say of the Virginia Tech Hokies, you could easily pair some maroon and orange with maybe some licensed fabric on the bodice…I’m not saying you have to, just a thought…
Thanks so much for being an awesome tester and sharing your Edelweisses with us today, Ashley! Head over to Vintage Farm Life to see the full post!

My husband and MIL would DIE if i made this in maroon (or ramoon as my kids say it) and orange! There is truly nothing like a Hokie fan and like or not I married one and so now I am suffering the maroon and orange lifestlye!
