I was totally taken back when I saw my children’s ruffled skirt had placed in the top 10. But you could have picked my jaw up off the floor when this morning I saw that the judges had actually selected my little skirt as the winner!! Winner…wow…gotta let that soak in a bit. I will tell you this though: I am slowly creating a blog (it’s all very new to me) and I PROMISE to do a tutorial on how to create this fun skirt. Oh, and by the way, I did NOT use a ruffler foot to make all those ruffles! Just a plain old gathering foot…on a plain old sewing machine.
