Mini Giant Rainbow Quilt

March 30, 2015 By Susan Leave a Comment

Yesterday I went to clean out my overflowing scrap jar and couldn’t stop sorting and picking tiny scraps I loved. Each one had a history and something I loved about it. So I got to work on a tiny mini Giant Rainbow Quilt! It’s about 15″ wide and perfect for a pillow or mini quilt or doll quilt or skirt panel or bag or (insert a thousand other things here). I loved using 25 different prints here.

After I shared it on Instagram I decided I had to play with it in Photoshop, too, which is ALMOST as much fun as playing with the actual fabric. Fun to see what each of these segments would look like as its own full-width version!

Want to test the MINI Giant Rainbow Quilt? It’s made with a teeny tiny pattern and works best if you have a 1/4″ piecing foot – or can be veeeeery precise without one as far as keeping your seams 1/4″.

Here’s our tester form – tell me somewhere in there what you’d like to make out of it and I’ll send some folks the file to try it out! —> http://crhrs.us/1HX1anj
