Year-end review/wrap-ups are all over crafty blog land, but we’ve never done one! Probably in part because we tend to chill over the holidays. And that’s still the case, but this year I got blog wrap-up envy, so I went to look at all of the pretty projects from this year and then decided to share some favorites. There are two of us on the blog sharing what we make – which is another complication that gets in the way of a cohesive roundup. Coordination when we’re both in relaxation mode? Not so much. I’m the one who jumped in here to summarize, so I get to pick what I like. Early bird and all that. (Maybe next year, A! For now, uh….enjoy the photos of you that I’ve carefully selected!)
Ballet Dress, Narita Dress, Skater Dress Review
Doli Tank Review, Knit Pencil Skirt, Aegean Swim Cover

Project Sewn, Stencil Abuse, Save Your Loved Ones
For me this year was all about the family – surviving first trimester misery, saying goodbye to dearly loved ones, selling a house, choosing a new house, moving, settling, birthing, nursing. I’m hoping for more creative time this year that doesn’t involve creating a person or a family nest from scratch! Behind the scenes I’ve been working on several projects that I plan to share soon, and I’ve been helping other designers get their work into the marketplace. It wasn’t a publicly creative year, more of a quietly satisfying one.
Adrianna birthed patterns! And competed in Project Sewn. And reviewed patterns. And had her own family focus time. In the coming year she has a move (a trans-continental one, no less) and re-settling back here in America to look forward to. While my hopes for collaboration are tempered by the realities of said resettling, we’ll be in the same time zone again! That’s pretty exciting!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for reading along with us. We had no idea where the blog would go when we started, and still don’t have hard and fast rules. We share what we make and what we’re thinking about, and it’s about 1000 times funner to share when we hear your thoughts on things too. Every comment and conversation is a delight. That reads super-cheesily, and yet, it’s true. Here’s hoping it’s a creative and connective year for us all!
It’s always fun seeing what you two come up with next! Best wishes for your new year.
Right back at you, Corinnea. :)
aww I love year-end wrapups. Have yet to do one for myself though…oh well. Maybe next year. Meanwhile, it’s fun to look at all you guys have done this year!! :)
